Over the holidays Miss Lillian Eiderdown, wool shop owner, finished the one project she had been meaning to knit forever: a holly red and snow white stocking. Between the snowdrifts of bobbles and the prancing reindeer, an amorous ghost waited for Lillian along with a funeral that turned into a wedding; a thief from the past; and more than one second chance.
Miss Eiderdown's Stocking — a grown-up fairy tale recorded in 2009 — was offered by the online retailer Knit Picks as a free holiday gift via their podcast stream.
